Google review for a professional athlete.
As a professional athlete, I’ve spent a lot of money over the years on massage and recovery services, and most people simply don’t compare to Ray.
After finding him through Google reviews, I decided to give him a go, and he is genuinely the only person I’ve ever seen consistent results from. What stands out most is how much he genuinely cares. He communicates incredibly well, regularly checks in after sessions, and often spends well over the scheduled time to make sure he’s done everything possible to help.
His knowledge is outstanding, he provides take-home exercises to support recovery, and his prices are very reasonable. The convenience of being able to see him at his home clinic is a bonus.
I honestly couldn’t recommend Ray more highly. He has completely changed the way I approach recovery, and I can confidently say I won’t be seeing anyone else for massage therapy. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and delivers real results, Ray is the person to see. Charlia 13/6/26
One of my dancers' Google review 9/5/26
I’ve visited Ray a few times now, and he is always fantastic. He’s very accommodating with afternoon appointment times, which makes it easy to fit in around work and training. His massages are excellent, and he’s especially good at targeting sciatic and piriformis pain. The cupping has also helped a lot, and I always leave feeling so much better with the results lasting for weeks afterwards. I’d highly recommend him for dancers (especially leading up to competition season) or anyone who overuses their body athletically and needs proper recovery and treatment. Shan 05/2026

A Comprehensive Advanced Functional Sports Massage Session
The 90-minute to 120-minute session allows for a full-body assessment and more detailed, hands-on work to address complex or recurring issues for active women and athletes who want a deeper, more thorough approach to recovery, mobility, and pain management.
This extended session is ideal for:
Active women managing ongoing muscle tightness or pain
Dancers, runners, cyclists, martial arts, bodybuilders and gym-based athletes
Women returning to training after injury or time off
Clients with multiple or recurring areas of restriction
Anyone who feels “stuck,” tight, or unbalanced in movement.
Advanced Functional Approach to Sports Massage
Ray uses a Advance Functional Sports Massage approach developed over 20+ years of clinical experience working with active clients and athletes.
This method focuses on how your body moves as a system—not just isolated tight muscles.
Rather than only treating symptoms, the goal is to identify what is contributing to recurring pain, stiffness, or reduced performance.
What May Be Included in Your Session
Depending on your needs, treatment may include:
Full-body movement and posture assessment, if needed
Myofascial release techniques
Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Cupping therapy (where appropriate)
Active soft tissue techniques that I have developed over 30 years are to help release tightness in the muscle system
Joint mobilisation techniques
Recovery and movement advice.
Key Focus Areas
Improving movement quality and efficiency
Reducing recurring tightness and muscular overload
Supporting injury prevention and recovery
Improving the balance between strength and mobility
Helping the body move with less restriction and strain.
Why This Session Is Different
Standard shorter massage sessions often focus on immediate tight areas.
This extended session allows time to:
Assess how the body is moving overall
treat multiple contributing areas
address underlying movement patterns
provide more complete recovery support
This leads to longer-lasting results and improved movement function.
Ray's Focus
Ray's focus is simple: Help the body move better by identifying and treating the causes of restriction—not just the symptoms.
