Therapeutic Detox Treatments

Full Therapeutic Circulation Breast, Mons Pubis Area and Tummy Massage.

This massage is also very good for women who feel disconnected from this area of the body or have had breast implants, which a lot of Ray's clients have. (If you have any issues with a male doing this, kind of treatment for your comfort, I would seek out a female therapist.)

Bookings by text at 0435-626-343. Got a question, please ask! (No question in a silly one)

🩸 Improves Circulation & Lymphatic Flow

Encourages healthy movement of blood and lymph to reduce swelling, support detoxification, and enhance tissue health.

💆‍♀️ Relieves Tenderness & Congestion

Eases feelings of fullness, discomfort, or hormonal sensitivity, especially helpful during menstrual cycles, breastfeeding, or menopause.

🤲 Supports Recovery from Surgery or Trauma

Helps soften scar tissue and restore mobility after mastectomy, lumpectomy, or breast reconstruction, while nurturing emotional healing.

⚖️ Hormonal & Immune Support

Stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which can help regulate hormone levels and boost immune response.

🧘‍♀️ Encourages Emotional Reconnection

Promotes body awareness and trust, helping many clients feel more at ease in their bodies, especially after illness, surgery, or long-term stress. 🔸 Benefits of Massaging the Full Mons Pubis Area

The mons pubis sits over the pubic bone and contains nerve endings, lymph nodes, and fatty tissue. While often overlooked, this area plays a vital role in sexual health, lymphatic flow, and pelvic comfort.

✅ Physical Benefits

  • Improved Blood Flow: Boosts circulation to the clitoral and vulvar region, enhancing sexual sensitivity and tissue health.
  • Lymphatic Drainage: Helps drain stagnant lymphatic fluid, which may reduce swelling or puffiness and support immune function.
  • Reduced Tension or Discomfort: Especially helpful if you experience tightness from stress, pelvic floor dysfunction, or tight clothing.

✅ Hormonal and Reproductive Support

  • Supports Pelvic Floor Health: Stimulates muscles indirectly connected to the pelvic floor, which supports the bladder and reproductive organs.
  • Menstrual Relief: Helps reduce cramps and bloating when combined with abdominal massage.

✅ Emotional and Sensual Benefits

  • Sensual Awareness: Encourages a stronger connection to your body and may enhance libido through increased touch and blood flow.
  • Body Positivity and Confidence: Promotes self-acceptance and comfort with intimate areas through mindful touch and body awareness.

🔸 Synergistic Benefits – Combining Mons + Abdominal Massage

When you massage both areas together as a routine, you create a full-spectrum effect that nourishes the nervous system, reproductive system, lymphatic system, and emotional centre.

  1. Enhanced Pelvic Health: Increased circulation and lymph flow in the entire pelvic region .
  2. Improved Sensuality & Sexual Health boosts body awareness, arousal, and sensitivity.
  3. Hormonal Balance supports the adrenal glands and reproductive hormones.
  4. Reduced Bloating & Cramps, massaging upward from the mons into the abdomen helps relieve PMS symptoms.
  5. Grounding & Relaxation massaging the lower abdomen activates parasympathetic nerves, easing anxiety.
  6. Digestive Harmony promotes smoother digestion and reduces gas, bloating, or IBS symptoms.

Heat and Cold Therapy Treatments

Breast massage at Athletic Sports Massage Canberra

Heat and Cold Therapy for Pain Relief and Recovery

Using Heat Therapy for Muscle and Soft Tissue Relief.

Applying gentle heat to tense or sore muscles can help relax the area, reduce discomfort, and promote overall relaxation. Heat therapy is especially beneficial for breast tenderness and abdominal (tummy) pain, as it helps improve circulation and ease muscle tension.

A warm bath or shower can provide effective relief; however, a bath is generally more beneficial since your breasts and abdomen stay immersed in warm water for a longer period, allowing deeper relaxation.

You can also use a hot water bottle, electric heating pad, or microwaveable heat pack. Always wrap the heat source in a towel or soft cloth before applying it to your skin to prevent burns or irritation.

Use heat therapy for 15–20 minutes at a time, and avoid falling asleep with a heat pack or hot water bottle in place.

Using Cold Therapy for Pain and Inflammation Relief.

Cold therapy, or cryotherapy, helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain in sore or injured areas. It is particularly useful after an acute injury, such as a sprain or strain, and can also ease breast tenderness related to inflammation or hormonal changes.

You can use a cold pack, gel ice pack, or a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a clean towel. Never apply ice directly to the skin, as this can cause cold burns or irritation.

Apply the cold compress for 10–15 minutes at a time, then remove it to allow the skin to return to normal temperature before reapplying if needed.

Cold therapy is most effective within the first 24–48 hours after pain, swelling, or injury and should not be used for prolonged periods without professional advice. (Warning: watch out for burning the skin)

 Important Notes

  • Always monitor your skin during heat or cold therapy to avoid irritation or burns.
  • If you have circulatory issues, diabetes, or nerve damage, consult your healthcare provider before using heat or cold treatments.
  • Discontinue use immediately if you experience increased pain, redness, or unusual discomfort.
