 🌸 Post-Mastectomy Massage Therapy

Supportive Care for Healing, Comfort & Confidence

Recovering from a mastectomy involves more than just physical healing; it’s a journey that affects the body, mind, and spirit. Our post-mastectomy massage therapy is designed to support that journey with care, compassion, and clinically informed techniques.

🌿 Common Post-Mastectomy Challenges We Address:

  • Lymphedema (swelling due to lymph fluid buildup, which can also happen in the whole arm)

  • Scar tissue and adhesions.
  • Limited shoulder or chest mobility.
  • Postural imbalances.
  • Pain, nerve sensitivity, or tightness.
  • Emotional stress, anxiety, and body image concerns.

💆‍♀️ Massage Goals & Benefits:

  • Reduce scar tissue & adhesions: Gentle myofascial techniques help soften tissue and improve skin and muscle mobility.
  • Improve lymphatic flow: Light lymphatic drainage may help reduce swelling and promote detoxification.
  • Restore range of motion: Carefully applied massage supports flexibility and joint mobility.
  • Relieve pain & sensitivity: Targeted massage can ease nerve discomfort and muscular tension.
  • Encourage relaxation: Therapeutic touch calms the nervous system, reducing stress and enhancing emotional well-being.
  • Support postural alignment: Releasing tension helps restore balance and ease of movement.

👐 A Safe, Respectful Environment.

Other Information On Breast Health

Q: Do you have a free consultation?

A: Yes, Ray believes in a free consultation, so the lady becomes more comfortable with Ray and can ask questions without cost. The area of concern would need to be checked by Ray before he can massage you.

Q: Have you massaged women with cancer before?

A: Yes, a number of my clients have had or have cancer, plus I have first-hand knowledge of breast cancer due to my wife's breast cancer and ladies who have had a mastectomy that come to me for treatment.

My wife is a survivor of breast cancer, and this is why I offer this service, as the breasts and the pectoralis muscles are just as important to massage after the operation, even if the breast has been removed or lumps removed. This is only after the Ok from your surgeons.
